Library Donations
Materials
Donated materials can be left on the desk in the Eichholtz Library. Please complete a donation form (also available at the library desk) and leave it with the donated materials. Donated materials should be in good taste, and good condition. Items with yellowed, stained, torn or dog-eared pages, highlighting or markings will not be accepted. Accepted donated materials will have a “donated by” plate placed in the front of the book.
Please be aware that donated materials are accepted with the understanding that they may or may not be catalogued into the Eichholtz Library. Library volunteers, with the aid of the pastor and/or Christian Education Committee, if needed, will decide what will be accepted. Duplicate copies of paperback books may be kept and not shelved to be used as replacement books.
Library volunteers are unable to put an estimated value on donated materials but will, upon request, provide a list of donated books for individuals to use for tax purposes.
Memorial Gifts
A memorial gift to the library can be a great way to honor the memory of a friend or family member. Memorial plates will be placed on each item designated as a memorial gift. Please use the donation form to provide information for the memorial plate.
Please be aware that in due time, donated items and memorial gifts will be removed from the shelf if the item becomes outdated, no longer relevant to the collection, or the condition of the book is no longer acceptable.
