Love others . . . in our church family

Angel Care Team

Visit and communicate on a regular basis with those who live in care facilities or are homebound.

Eicholtz Library

Check in returned books, stock new books, and help maintain and promote the use of the church library.

Food Pantry

Help Westwood families in need by bringing non-perishable food items to the food pantry; place in the containers near the outside doors.
 

God's Garden

Help children in grades K-5 learn about Jesus through drama, music, books, games, art, computers, puppets, cooking, and science.  Lesson plans and resources provided; your choice of room and month - 3 Sundays on, 1 Sunday off.
 

Meals-To-Go Ministry

Provide meals for people after a hospitalization, death or during other times of need. Team members rotate covering weeks.

Music Ministry

Share your vocal or instrumental talent with others by serving in the choir, playing in the bell choir, or joining the Praise Team.

Nursery

Care for infants and toddlers in the nursery once a month or twice a year, whatever fits your schedule.

Office Help

Assist the church secretary with mailings, copying, answering the phone and special projects.

Parish Nurse Ministry

Westwood Parish Nurses focus on the whole person to emphasize wellness, disease prevention and health promotion - teaching and supporting our church family in living with "ease" physically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. If you are a registered nurse, consider using your skills and gifts as a Parish Nurse.

Join the Westwood Prayer Chain and pray for the needs of those in our Church family, their friends and loved ones.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Knit or crochet prayer shawls for those who need special comfort. No experience necessary; come be a part of the Prayer Shawl Circle and learn to knit or crochet while helping others.

Technology Team

Share your technical skills by helping to run the sound system, maintain the church website, provide technical support for the church computers, or producing the weekly worship media.

Transportation Support

Provide transportation to and from medical and other appointments for those who are unable to drive.
 

Youth Ministry

Support Westwood middle and high school youth--volunteer to help at youth meetings or serve as a sponsor on youth mission trips.
